Please read this entire page carefully.  It contains information you need to know and act on.

To register for an on-line class, see your counselor in Student Services and complete the registration form.

NC VPS classes for Winter/Spring 2015 start on January 20, 2015 . With "Meet the teacher" beginning on January 15th.  SWEHS does not begin second semester until Jan. 26th.  So please be aware that the on-line classes start a week earlier (during 1st semester exams)!

If you have not taken an NC VPS class before, I recommend that you go through the Student Support Services Orientation. You can access the orientation by going to the log-in link at the bottom of the NCVPS home page or at this URL: http://ncvps.blackboard.com/webapps/login/. To access the orientation, do NOT log in.  Instead, click the Preview button on the left, bottom portion of the screen, then click on "Student Support Services Orientation" on the right under "My Courses".

To access NCVPS, go to http://www.ncvps.org/ .  The site has information that you may want to read before starting a NCVPS course.

To log into your course, click on “user login” at the bottom of the screen. Your log-in name should be your student number.  If you have had an account in the past, the log-in is probably the same.  If you have not done this before, please contact me to get your log-in information.

Bookmark the log-in page on your computer or laptop.  Make sure you check in daily with your class.  It is important that you keep up with every aspect of your course.  Because you don’t see someone each day to give you instruction and assignments, does not mean that you don’t need to “go to this class” each day.  Make certain your on-line teacher can see evidence of your efforts by logging in and staying on top of each assignment.

Monday, February 2nd is the last day you can add or drop a NCVPS class for second semester.
